10 Amazing Brand Transformations

Most brands evolve over time… that’s a good thing!

Just as you might purchase a new jacket when the change in season hits to stay warm and on-trend, some companies need to give their brand identity a regular update to stay current. Over time, logos, like fashion, can become dated too. Besides falling out of trend, this could also be due to a shift in the company direction, the addition of a new service offering, a new target market to attract, or perhaps the name no longer reflects their values and business positioning.

Here are ten examples of businesses that have come to WISDOM to switch up their logos to better reflect their company.

Daley has gone through a couple of logo updates to better represent the business as it has evolved, and has simplified their name from Daley & Co to Daley.
The Wollongong Hawks logo needed a major facelift to give the basketball team a fresh new brand that was to be used across marketing as well as an array of merchandise.
Gundagai Region underwent a brand refresh to develop a new identity that highlighted the regions unique charm and connection to the historic and iconic ‘Dog on the Tucker Box’.
When the Links Shell Cove had a major overhaul of both the course and club house, a new brand was required to reflect the new and modern golf club’s coastal amenities.
In recent years, Financial Dynamics went through a rebrand to better reflect their culture, and with it, a modern and friendly new logo.
Resolution Rigging Services had a logo that was trying to do too much and was very dated, but there was brand equity in it’s colour palette. WISDOM created a new logo that retained the colour recognition.
Gilgandra Shire Council underwent a rebrand with a vibrant colour palette to reflect the rich diversity and energetic initiatives within the community, whilst retaining a corporate feel.
Wests Illawarra Leagues Club was using the football team’s logo, including the devil mascot and team colours. This didn’t reflect the club’s offering to patrons, so a new unique logo was required.
Weddin Region, previously using the town name of Grenfell for their broader region, changed their name as well as their brand and logo to encompass all the region towns and villages.
K&R Fabrications wanted to keep their existing logo, but they knew it needed a modern update. They came to WISDOM for a tidy up and give their beloved brand a professional polish.
