Wow! Silver and Bronze at the Qantas National Tourism Awards

WISDOM clients did extremely well at the 2018 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards last night, with Destination Southern Highlands picking up a Silver and Mudgee Region a Bronze in the Destination Marketing Category, at a gala evening held in Perth. Mudgee's Bronze was a great defence of their Gold from the previous year for a campaign that WISDOM was also involved in.

Manager Destination Southern Highlands Steve Rosa (pictured above) said “the unique and integrated campaign performed beyond our expectations in its inaugural year generating increased awareness and visitation for our region during our off-peak season. This coupled with some great business results in which most participants in the campaign claimed increased levels of business against the same period of time in

2016 was a pleasing outcome. It is estimated that PIE TIME also helped to grow the visitor economy ‘pie’ with a record number 100,000 pies being produced and sold by 53 pie venues during June, with an injection of over $1,000,000 into the local visitor economy.”

Mudgee Region Tourism CEO, Cara George was rightfully pleased with their award on the night for the very successful Lets Skip Town Together campaign "We are pretty chuffed with our result this year with the local WA favourite taking out Gold. We’ll come back bigger and better next year! Thanks to Wisdom for being amazing partners, helping us to achieve many successes." Cara said.
