WISDOM was chosen by the Illawarra Steelers club to develop not only a logo but examine all the club's branding. Up until then the club took its name from the football team of the same name. However after the merger with the St George Illawarra Dragons and the omission of the junior grades that used the Steelers name lessened the relevance of the licensed club retaining the name. Instead it was recommended that the club be renamed The Steelesr Club.

WISDOM designed the logo around the rugby league theme using a ball which was a key requirement for the client. The use of waves and sand represent the close proximity to City Breach while a prominent arch at the front of the club's building was used to compliment the symmetry of the design.
