Traditionally a bulk goods port, handling commodities such as iron ore,
coal and grain, the Port of Port Kembla is currently undergoing major
expansion that will see it diversify its trade base in the future to
include motor vehicles, containers, general and break bulk cargoes. The
Port Kembla Port Corporation has changed its focus during this period
of growth and development. The future direction of the port will see it
enter a new era of trade and logistics facilitation with an approach
which considers the entire logistics network.

To reflect these major changes a new logo and brand identity has been developed.The new logo is a contemporary stylised symbol that aims to represent various attributes and abilities of the Port Corporation namely innovation, logistics facilitation and professionalism. It also represents movement from one stage to another.
