Bluescope TAKE 2

"Take 2 - Take Time for Safety" was an OH&S campaign ran within BlueScope Steel for many years. The premise was to Stop, Think & Plan, to slow down, don't rush, and you will prevent injury.

For the campaign, WISDOM created a logo and a series of posters, banners and stickers all with different messages of safety.

WISDOM created 2 characters based on the tortoise and the hare fables. The tortoise always represented the safe, right way of doing things, whilst the hare was the hurried one, representing the dangerous, incorrect way.

Campaigns covered everything from on-site dangers, electrical and tool safety, to safety at home and healthy lifestyles.

This campaign was very successful, running for more than 6 years. It was used throughout national BlueScope Steel sites and also by New Zealand Steel.
