AFL clubs in Australia have large membership bases that support their team financially. NRL clubs gain the majority of their financial support through grants from their respective licensed clubs. NRL clubs where encouraged to follow the AFL model. With the merger of St George and the Illawarra Steelers the St George Illawarra Dragons launched their team membership club and engaged WISDOM to develop strategies and creative material.

WISDOM mounted a huge multi faceted market research campaign called "We Want to Know About You". It was launched on the popular Channel 9 Footy Show with live feeds from the studio to a call centre where information was gathered. Fans were polled outside stadiums and questionnaires done along with many focus groups.

WISDOM went onto design the logo plus a vast range of brochures, press adverts and TVC's.
