Metropolitan Coal takes safety on its site very seriously. To further emphasise the focus on safety, Metropolitan Coal produced a safety DVD to remind current employees and even staff at other collieries - in the Illawarra and throughout NSW and Queensland to think about safety.

The video was produced in a documentary style with a heart felt message to employees of 'staying safe to return home to your family' and was eloquently portrayed via commentary, interviews and re-enactments.

WISDOM was chosen to develop the video as the safety department wanted a professionally finished product. "Safety is too important to take short cuts" said Tony McFadden from Metropolitan Coal.

The video was shot over 3 days and the final edited result was a 9 minute DVD that was produced burnt and packaged by WISDOM. "WISDOM was very professional from start to finish and we were very pleased with the result" said Tony.
